Implementation of the project “Promoting the culture of using solar energy and integrated ecosystems in educational buildings – implemented at Al-Azhar University”, funded by the United Nations Development Program – Global Environment Facility and the Small Grants Program, during the period from December 2020 to January 2022.
Organizing a regional meeting to review the outcomes of the regional study of the impact of the Corona pandemic on children’s rights in the Arab world, in cooperation with the Arab Network for Child Rights “Manara” – November 2021.
Implementation of a national study on “the impact of the Corona pandemic on children’s rights in Egypt – 2020.”
Implementation of (3) research studies on “the situation of children’s rights in Egypt” with the participation of children during the period from 2013 to 2019.
The implementation of (Promoting Children’s Rights) Project in Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef, with cooperation of the Arab Network for the Rights of the Child (Manara) during 2018 to 2021, with the participation of the working children in those governorates.
The implementation of “No to Violence Against Children” Campaign’s activities in Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef, with the cooperation of the Arab Network for the Rights of the Child (Manara), during the period from year 2014 to 2016, with the participation of the working children in those governorates.
The implementation of “Securing a Decent Life for Working Children and their Families” Project in partnership with the Evangelical Coptic Church “CEOSS”, during the period from year 2013 to 2014.
The implementation of “Collecting Data by Children” project, in Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Beni Suef, with cooperation of the Arab Network for the Rights of the Child (Manara), and Save the Children organization, during the period from year 2013 to 2016, and with the participation of the working children.
The Forum has implemented the “Advocacy for Protecting and Caring for Working Children” Project with the Canadian Agency PDP, during the period of year 2006 – 2009.
Implemented the “Reduction of Child Labour” Project, with the excellence grant, received from the International Conrad companies during the period of year 2003 – 2004.
Implemented “Call for Issuing a Decision, to Activate the Role of the Consultative Committee of the Child Labour Reduction” Project, with the American Development Federation ADF, in (Cairo – Giza – Qalyubia governorates), during the period of year 2008 – 2009.
Implemented the “Documenting the Children Labor Studies in the Northern Governorates” Project, with (Environics) office, through conducting a research study about children labour, as an attempt to reduce this phenomenon in the Northern Governorates (Port Said – Domyatte – Daquhlia – Kafr Al Shiekh – Al Bahira – Alexanderia – Marssa Mattrouh) during year 2009.
FDPD is a found member of the Egyptian Collation for Children Rights, which includes 126 organizations and NGOs concerned with Child Rights in 26 Governorate.
The Forum has the membership of many national committees, among which the most important are the National Committee for Demining, planning committee…etc.).
Members of the board of directors provide technical assistance to institutions and NGOs working in addressing community issues such as child labor, environment, urbanization and housing and community development issues. This is done through training the leaders in these NGOs on planning and implementing advocacy campaigns and strategic plans that empower and develop their performance.
The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the New Valley Governorate, Assiut University, and the Ministry of Administrative Development.
The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the Institute of Cultural Affairs for the Middle East and North Africa – Cairo.
The Forum signed a cooperation protocol with the General Assembly for Internal Migration and Development – Cairo.
The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the Sinai Treasures Association – Sinai.
The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Organization for Humanitarian Relief and Rehabilitation – Giza.
Within the framework of implementing the activities of the “Advocacy for the Protection and Care of Working Children” project, funded by the Participation Development Program, the forum signed:
o A cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Local Community Development Association in Abu Saud – Old Cairo.
o A cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Vocational Training and Productive Families Association in Suez.
o A cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Nile Valley Foundation – for the protection of children – in Minya.
o A cooperation protocol with the Community Development and Child Protection Association in Motobas – Kafr El-Sheikh.
Within the framework of implementing the activities of the project “Calling for a Decision to Activate the Role of the Advisory Committee to Reduce Child Labor” from the Governors of (Cairo – Giza – Qalyubia), funded by the American Development Foundation (ADF), the forum signed:
o The Forum signed a cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Association for Vocational Training and Productive Families in Giza.
o The Forum signed a cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Association for Cooperation and Happiness – Shubra El Kheima – Qalyubia
o The Forum signed a cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Local Community Development Association in Abu Al-Saud – Old Cairo
o The Forum signed a cooperation protocol between the Forum and the Sharqawiya Association – Shubra Al-Kheima – Qalyubia.
Within the framework of implementing the activities of the “Empowering Women Politically and Economically” project, funded by the General Union of Associations and Civil Foundations, the forum signed:
o The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Women’s Issues Foundation in Giza.
o The forum signed a cooperation protocol with the SEKEM Development Foundation in Sharqia.
o The Forum signed a cooperation protocol with the Human Rights Association for Development in Assiut
Within the framework of the project “Empowering Youth and Women to Community Participation in Public Life,” the Forum signed cooperation protocols with:

The Forum is the site of a cooperation protocol with BIC, the “Bank Information Center,” which is a civil society organization that works in the field of monitoring the policies of the World Bank with regard to the Bank’s policies in developing countries regarding issues of children, women, and the environment – operating in Washington.
