One of the most important topics addressed in the workshop is examining ways of cooperation between national institutions concerned with children’s rights and civil society organizations within African countries to implement the observations and recommendations related to the African Charter.
The African Union also seeks, through the Committee, to urge African countries that have not signed the Charter to sign and ratify it so that it enters into force within their countries.
The Forum, the Coalition, and the Manara Network were represented in the workshop by Mr. Sameh Abu Al-Saud
